Erik Mandler

Retired Paramedic, Chief Executive Officer/Program Director

Before joining Westmed in 2004, Mr Mandler held senior leadership positions as a Director of Operations and Chief San Bernardino, Los Angeles, Ventura and Riverside County divisions. His prior experience includes the direct management of 911 paramedic systems in San Diego, Riverside, Los Angeles, Orange and Ventura Counties. Mr. Mandler has also managed the City of San Diego 911 Medical Communications Center for MedTrans and AMR’s regional Los Angeles County Communications Center in Torrance California. Mr. Mandler has managed large scale Hospital contracts in Los Angeles County including all Kaiser Hospitals, Tenant Health Hospitals, Cedars Sinai, Martin Luther King, and the Adventist Hospitals. In 2007, Mr. Mandler became the sole owner of Westmed Ambulance Service in Northern California and oversees all day-to-day operations. Mr. Mandler holds an MBA from the University of the Redlands.
